if you're looking at a code repo and trying to decide if the project is legit or not and all the commits are commented as "fixes" and "wip" is that a red flag?

@hypolite @wake.st trying to sus out how "serious" a project is. I guess that has many axis's to it. There is the technical, social, performative etc about an open source project becoming infrastructure for the commons...

@liaizon @wake.st Then this kind of commit messages definitely denotes some sort of personal sandbox project that isn't intended to welcome outside contributions yet.
